Today we were doing maintenance on the nature trail. Some volunteers from BNZ came to help us. We hauled out red poker plants and agapanthus. While Mr Mitchell was trying to dig out a poker plant he was using his spade as a lever and his spade broke on the fulcrum.
Some of the weeds were a nightmare to take out but some were really easy. We used secateurs, spades, shovels, forks and rakes.
